A Vision Born From Purpose
Blue Gaia Foundation was born from the vision of Jessica Coll — a vision to create a different way of understanding children, families, and neurodivergence.
Jessica founded Blue Gaia with the belief that a diagnosis should never define a child. It should provide information that helps adults better understand their needs, strengths, relationships, environment, and potential.
Her vision brings families, educators, professionals, and communities together to create greater understanding, meaningful connection, and opportunities for every child to thrive.
At the heart of Blue Gaia is one simple but powerful question: What changes when we stop asking, “How do we fix this child?” and start asking, “What is this child here to show us?”
“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid.” — Joshua 1:9
Our Vision
We envision communities where neurodivergent children are understood as whole people — supported through belonging, thoughtful environments, meaningful connection, and the freedom to grow into who they are.
“We love him, because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19
What guides us
We look beyond labels to honor each child’s lived experience, individuality, strengths, and potential.
We believe family members, educators, and communities can learn the tools and perspective needed to offer meaningful support.
We understand behavior as communication and meet it with curiosity, care, and a willingness to learn.
We create spaces where families feel seen, supported, and connected rather than isolated.
“What doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” — Micah 6:8
Our Story
Blue Gaia is growing as an educational ecosystem: a place for families to learn, reflect, connect, and discover approaches that honor neurodivergence without reducing a child to a diagnosis.
Through parent learning, community programs, and regenerative ways of living together, we invite people to expand what support can look like — at home, in school, and in the wider world.
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5
Our Team
Blue Gaia’s work is shaped by a growing circle of families, educators, and collaborators who share a commitment to dignity, connection, and possibility. We will introduce more members of this community as their stories are ready to be shared.
